Like most schools, especially in rural Ghana, TKSHS is under-resourced, lacking in many basic amenities, including teaching and learning resources. For example, since its inception, TKSHS has not had potable running water for students to use. Students had to travel long distances outside the school to get water and this was a major hindrance to teaching and learning until CTED installed water pumps at the school.
