Akwasidae

Akwasidae is one of the most sacred and widely celebrated traditional festivals in Ashanti and Akan culture. It takes place on a Sunday once every 42 days (six weeks), marking a crucial day on the traditional Akan calendar (Adae cycle).

African 7 Marathon

Africa 7: Run Your Purpose (A7)is a Pan-African initiative that unites sport, education, and community engagement to spotlight Africa’s dynamic development. The initiative features seven marathons across seven African countries in seven consecutive days. In partnership with CTED, this marathon will pass through Kumawu, Ghana.

TKSHS Awards, Art, and Culture Day

Organized by CTED in collaboration with Akyerema Foundation, the event will celebrate and recognize outstanding students and dedicated teachers for their hard work and achievements.
Following the awards ceremony, guests are invited to visit the CTED Art Gallery and Kumawuman Museum Network sites in Bodomase and Bodwease.
