2025 Sub-Saharan Regional Institute Conference in Accra

On October 24–26, 2025, two CTED Excellence Program College Counsellors, Mr Otuo Sarpong and Mrs Evlyn Sarfo, attended the 2025 Sub-Saharan Regional Institute Conference in Accra, sponsored by Prof. Yaw Nyarko. The conference provided professional development in college counselling, covering topics such as digital student recruitment strategies, student mental health support, U.S. and U.K. higher education systems, financial aid opportunities, equitable admissions practices, and overcoming barriers faced by African students. The training enhanced the counsellors’ capacity to better support students in their higher education and career pathways.
