2023 Mosquito Netting Project
On January 26, 2023, the Akyerema Foundation launched a mosquito netting project to improve student health and reduce malaria cases in the boys’ and girls’ dormitories. The project involved replacing damaged and worn-out mosquito nets with new, durable ones to better protect students from mosquito bites. Generously sponsored by Joyce Duncan-Williams, the initiative has created a safer and healthier living environment, enhancing the welfare and academic well-being of students.
