2022 Girls Brick Washroom

On October 23, 2022, Prof. Yaw Nyarko, director of Akyerema Foundation and NYU/CTED, undertook the renovation of the Girls’ Brick Washroom to improve sanitation and provide a more comfortable facility for the students. The project included the installation of new WC units and hand-wash basins to enhance hygiene standards. New doors were also installed to ensure privacy and security. In addition, the washroom was fully tiled, giving it a clean, modern, and more durable finish.

This renovation has greatly improved the sanitary conditions of the facility and created a safer and more dignified environment for the girls.
